Gary Bohn. I detect a note of arrogance in your prediction, did I hear
you correctly, to "debunk" us ignorant savages, or dreamers, and impose

savages? the earth races? the heathens?)

There is nothing in the universe more arrogant than reality. Whatever
it says, goes, and it *always* imposes the final word. There is no
appeal, ever.

There are two ways to deal with the arrogance of the real world. Some
people simply deny it, and make up other stuff that they like more.
These people employ priests to comfort them with stories. Others find
it works better to understand the real world and work within its
contraints. These people employ scientists to understand reality.

Now you are blaming the messenger. Scientists and the people who
support them are not arrogant themselves (well, some are, but not in
the way you say). They merely repeat what reality says. If you think
what they say is arrogant, blame reality. And if you believe in a God
who created the universe, blame God.

I would like to believe in a religion of love.

The rest of your post (mercifully snipped) makes me doubt that.
