You'd think there was at least a placebo effect,
but then I haven't read the full article yet, have I?
Interesting. Could it be that the certainty that one is prayed for
gives some people false confidence which leads them to be less careful
than they should, taking more risks?
Good news is that the mortality was similar so there probably were no
smitings associated with any of the groups in particular which would
indicate that no deity was particularly offended that there was a lot
of praying in the name of science. Unless there were casualties among
the people who did the study or participated in praying?
