Re: Become a creationist and make a million dollars

Besides this clock being surprisingly exciting, according to anyone who
has looked at it so far, another interesting "sellingpoint" of the
clock is it's paranormal appeal. For instance say that you need to take
an airplane, it goes at 8:30, you have to be there on time. But the
funny thing, is your decisionclock won't go forward, it just sits there
at 7.00 clock and it won't go forward, maybe some time half a tick, but
then standing curiously still all the time. So then you push the
synchronize button, to synchronize it to standard time, but still it
won't go forward. Thinking it might be broken, you arrive at the
airport and check in and wait to board the plane. In the waitingroom
you notice that all the time they are making boardingcalls on the
speaker for people that are late for your plane. And the thing is all
the latecomers have the same story, their decisionclock stopped is why
they are late...... Feeling this must be an omen, the passengers
refuse to get on board. Then the captain comes to the boardingroom to
sort out all the fuss. The captain orders a second check of all systems
to reassure the passengers, and takes a sharp look at the plane. Then
the captain notices that the fourth engine is tilted downward just 1
degree or so, indicating that the motor is hanging loose and may break
of. And there you have it, the decisionclock saved the day!

I'm curious- if you believe that the hand of God guides seemingly
random "choices," does that mean that you believe Magic 8 balls are
particularly reliable? If they don't have them where you live, these
are toys in the shape of a liquid filled ball with a window on the
bottom. You ask a question and turn it over, and a many sided plastic
thing floats up against the window, displaying one of several possible
answers to your question.
