It was back up at 18:30 PST.

About Us:
"About EvolutionIsImpossible.com

EvolutionIsImpossible.com's purpose is to shatter any false notion that
evolution is even a slightly viable perspective. To achieve this
purpose, we want to reach humanistic naturalists and other evolution
believers with truth, packaged in short and simple essays written at a
widely accessible level. A website was chosen as the appropriate
vehicle for these essays and so EvolutionIsImpossible.com was
conceived. EvolutionIsImpossible.com is aimed at both planting seeds of
doubt in humanistic naturalists and watering any doubts that the less
hardened may have.

EvolutionIsImpossible does not support Intelligent Design, creation or
any explanation for the origin of life. Enjoy our web site and let us
know what you think by emailing us: feedback@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

I didn't really expect the web site to reappear when I challenged him to
put it back up. Perhaps he really is unaware of what the web site says
about him.

I didn't think there was a very good chance he would respond to
my invitation to join in the debate here and in fact I warned him
as best I could what to expect, so at least we should credit him
with both speaking up for himself and making some replies. (If you
look at my message to him which is at the end of the other thread,
I did suggest addressing a few key individuals in reply and not trying
to answer all the responses.) Tomorrow being another day, he may
come back with some additional responses. (Or maybe not.)

I'm a bit sorry that it was all so focused on the school borad issues
and we didn't get a chance to draw Alex into a more educational
thread looking into what he assumes about evolution and what
there really is to know. If he is now just "lurking" (reading the
thread
but not actively posting in it) - I would suggest a serious self-study
of the Talk Origins Web Site for a couple of weeks to come to grips
with the limits to his own knowledge compared to what is on offer here.

If he did come back into the newsgroup and said - "Hey, I've learned
a few things and now know there is a lot more to lrean, help me to
come to grips with it", I'm sure he would find the heat would ease off
a bit (some doubters would keep him in their sights but that would be
expected), and some more relaxed exchanges could happen that he
might find instructive. (I say this as well for other possible
lurkers...
come here admitting you lack understanding and you will find teachers
rather than critics. And if one teacher wants to split hairs with
another,
you will get to be the critic of their exchanges.)

You could email your post above, or a modification thereof, to him, in
case he's no longer lurking.

It was almost painful watching him march, apparently obliviously, into
the buzz-saw. He seems to be as much a victim as an evildoer. Perhaps
there's some hope for reformation.
