If one does a Google Video search for the word "evolution" one comes up
with all kinds of freaky anti-science neo-fascist frighting and
disturbing viedos; one such video is from Rev. Hovind's conspiracy
theories in "The dangers of evolution." While evolution is certainly
dangerous to populations, there is nothing anyone can do about
evolution. (Gravity is also dangerous.)
I've been doing just that this weekend: video-googling up various
creationists and other snake oil salemen (Zakir Naik anyone?) It's
scary to see entire crowds gleefully being hoodwinked by these people.
What's next? Burning witches?
How do you make money burning witches?
"Witch hunters" during the Inquisitions made a large pile of money.
They were paid a fee for finding witches, and also paid a portion of
their wictim's wealth.
Many lawyers and "therapists" during the McMartin Pre-school witch hunt
made bundles of money also. It was so financially successful and
rewarding that similar trials occured elsewhere in the USA and Great
Britan.
There is unlimited weath readily available to any person or group that
follows the same or similar political patterns laid down over the past
500 years.
