I posted to Dembski's blog, but rarely does he allow my comments to appear.
Not only did he leave the comment, he responded to it, but in a
sarcastic manner dismissive and disrepectful of the actual evidence. He
Just Doesn't Get that what's important about this study: as a positive,
it shows that his conclusions are wrong; second, as a negative, it fails
to overturn or invalidate any basic evolutionary principles.
For Dembski to jeer that "you guys have got to get it straight:
why is this so important if evolution is as well-estabsilshed as
gravity?" is sheer childishness. Gravity Studies are still serious
business, after all: and we have a clearer picture of why evolution
happens at scale than we do gravity.
And we haven't stopped studying gravity either.
Dembski is just a whiner.
Another two years and he will go back to being an obscure nobody.
