Evolutionary advantages of Religion and Gullibility

There's an interesting set of articles on the whys and wherefores of
belief in the 28th January issue of New Scientist. Like I said elsewhere
a while back, there isn't necessarily an advantage in rational thought.
Evolution may have it right in process, but the creationists are
presumably doing better by denying it.
