Why would you expect otherwise?
Dunes are asymmetric. It is easier to walk up one side than the
other, but going down can be easily done on either side. Presevation
of prints is also more likely on one side than the other. Therefore,
one would expect a bias in directionality.
Furthermore, walking up a dune is likely to leave clearer prints than
going down a dune, since going down likely involves a lot of slipping.
Add to that the exaggeration of supposed problems which is inevitable
with creationism.
