Wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!

How life started has no bearing whatsoever on the validity of the
Theory of Evolution.

Let me provide an example that might illustrate the point with
sufficient illumination to actually get through your mental block:

Mars....we have sent robotic probes to Mars. Suppose that these probes
were not completely sterile of earth microbes when they arrived on the
surface. Let's further suppose that the lander came into contact with
some wet soil, or some other environment that allowed these microbes to
sustain themselves. We would now have a small colony of earth migrants
that we can observe to see if they follow the mechanisms contained
within the TofE...namely:

Descent with modification
Mutation, Natural Selection, etc.

Now....let's further suppose that there is another colony of Martian
microbes on the other side of the planet that formed through some
unknown, yet natural abiogenesis process. We can [when technology
allows] observe this colony as well to see if it follows the same
evolutionary mechanisms....even though the origination method was
different, and unknown.

Evolution of life can be studied no matter what the life's origin
happens to be. The mechanisms [and very validity] of the theory are
completely unaffected by the mechanisms involved in the creation of
that life.
