Please give citations to the peer-reviewed literature which
show that this procedure does not relieve the symptoms of
leprosy.

Note that a double-blind study with a result that has no
significant difference from chance does not *exclude* the
effectiveness, only does not demonstrate its effectiveness.
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Note also that such a study must show that the disease being
treated is the disease called "leprosy" by the Bible. Compare,
for example, discussions about the Biblical descriptions of bats
being birds and whales being fish.
