You do a lot of imagining.

Can you provide some evidence that society is actually degenerating?
Degenerating from what precisely? An era when the work week was 80 hours or
more? When infant mortality rates were enormous? Where the average
lifespan was less than fifty years? Where diseases could sweep through
populations, reducing them by a third? Where most people were indentured
laborers? Where most people were illiterate? Where kings, princes and
emperors ruled by divine decree? Where every manner of torture and
humiliation was put upon those whose religious or political beliefs were
considered unacceptable by the powers of the day? Where being a member of
the wrong ethnic group or skin color could mean slavery, harassment and even
murder? Where pious politicians could sit on tons of grain and let a
country literally starve almost to death? Where the peoples of two entire
continents were victims of genocide, disease, enslavement and
marginalization at the hands of great Christian powers?
Ah yes, the good ol' days.

And you're really good at simply making things up?
