This is a huge point, and I think it is the main reason for the Dover
trial and Kansas and the reason the DI continues. Creationist are not
real concerned about winning court cases or even getting ID in schools.
They are winning the battle anyway, with little opposition.
All these skirmishes do is to continue to give them resources to beat
up science in the pulpit. They are winning. They don't have to do so in
name (a court). They have the public on their sided.
