We exist because the deity of the bible "is" a liar... I guess you must
have missed that part.

Adam was a failed experiment (Let us make man in our own image). When
you make a man in the image of a deity, you get a grumpy, sexually
flustrated animal. When you try to cure his sexual flustration by
creating a woman, you get a emotionally flustrated female. When you
tell them that "On the day you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, you will surely die", the emotionally flustrated female will
be damned if she can't make a liar out of you.

Adam and God were tight. Eve was a third wheel. She was always going to
be the third wheel, unless she changed the status quo. Since she'd
never known anyone that had died, death wasn't a factor. By getting
Adam to eat of the tree with her, their fate would be locked together.
God would be forced to realize that Eve had Adam by the balls and she
wasn't afraid to squeeze. That meant there was a new #2 in Eden and God
was so impressed by her mastery of manipulation that He didn't kill
them (a.k.a. making Him a liar). Oh, sure, they had to be punished. But
that just fascinated God, all the more. It's not every creation that
can screw over its Creator and still be fascinating.

We've been fascinating Him, ever since.

So, if you think, God being a liar isn't specifically noted in the
early chapters of the bible, you probably haven't really read it or
understood it. Adam and Eve would have been killed the day they ate of
the tree, otherwise, and you and I wouldn't be here to discuss it. Our
very existence is the consequence of a lie... pretty much explains a
lot, doesn't it?
