Just to elaborate, it's relatively well known that during
his time in Zurich, Einstein greatly enjoyed hanging out
in the Odeon Cafe, a favourite haunt of political radicals,
including, for example, Lev Davidovich Bronstein, and at
some point in time: Lenin.

He reportedly regularly missed classes to take part in the
political discussions there.
