You could have multipartner reproduction over a longer time span by
preserving the exchanged material for later use.
e.g creature 1 hands creature 2 an egg it had laid earlier and been
carrying in a pouch for a while.
creature 2 injects the egg with its DNA material and later passes the
egg to creature 3 who sticks it in its pouch, injects it with its dna
contribution and then procedes to hatch it some time later.
A question would be with current understanding of the merging of the
parents DNA to create an offspring is this process capable of being
performed with three or more sets of material.?
