Your body wears out, and you die. But that's okay, because as far as
evolution is concerned you are only a walking vehicle for genes. What
matters is that genes survive, and if you've done what you're supposed
to do - you had kids, or maybe your siblings did - then your genes will
still be walking around after you're dead, in new-built bodies with,
once in a very long while, evolutionary improvements. It's like a
snake shedding its old skin and wearing a new one - and your DNA is the
snake, and you're the skin.
