Re: "Deep Impact" and the Electric Universe

Gans has a VERY GOOD handle on the type of scientifico-intellectual
pathology he is dealing with concerning Talbott, Thornhill, and Scott.
However, perhaps it is NOT as good as it might be:

Aye! Here's the rub: Gauss's Law. It may not be apparent from the
discussion here, but in their heart of hearts people like Talbott do
not accept ANY authority that contradicts their idee fixe, and that
includes Gauss's Law whose validity was explicitly denied to me by Dr.
Earl Milton (spectroscopy) and Dr. George R. Talbott (physics) (no
relation to Dave) in correspondence in 1984 concerning the use of
Gauss's Law to establish the origin of the geomagnetic field INSIDE the
earth in that then enigmatic geodynamo.

I wonder if Tony Peratt truly knows what sort of scientific deviants he
is trafficking with?

Still not suffering fools gladly!
