Wester Ghats in Danger ,chooping of

Western Ghats runs from goa to kerala is once again in danger in this
summer.Every day there is 20 loads of truck carring the tree's chopped
from the westerghats to human settlements.we saw this on
mangalore-bangalore higway.BTW managlore higway itself which was once
beautiful is now occupied by little shops and truckers [illegal
occupants] and destroying the nature.The forest dept in India seems not
to bother on this issue.The officals are very reluctant to answer these
questions.The hydro powere electricity has drain the lower parts,

I really don't know what greeen peace india is doing.There should be
some constructive messure to be done for thiss.please join hands on
saving the western ghats.
