As most pee ople are probably aware, deliberately putting religious superstitions into the uninformed minds of children is a form of abuse that ranks alongside paedophilia (both sexual and sadomasochistic).
Unhappily this former occurs in a greater or lesser extent in all faith based schools. To avoid it, it is necessary to adopt the draconian measure of closing down all such schools, as one finds already in many enlightened countries.
An e-petition demanding this from the British government can be found athttp://petitions.pm.gov.uk/faithschools/ and is already the second most widely signed of the current petitions concerning education. I urge all reasonable persons to follow my example and add their names to the list.
REPLY: Destructive religious indoctrinations would be tenets of atheism such as moral relativism, and the like...because atheism makes oneself the god of his life
so doing whatever he feels like doing can be made permissable. Regards.
Another idiot with no idea at all what atheism is all about.
Well, there is at least 300 million of those idiots in the US alone.
300 million, thats more than 80% I think, can't be THAT bad can it? !
Unfortunately it is. Recent polls put the number of
Atheists-Agnostics-nonbelievers somewhere around 18%. That should
leave about 2% of the christians that actually understand Atheism.
You measure a democracy by the freedom it gives its dissidents,
not the freedom it gives its assimilated conformists.
