REPLY: The reason Jesus had to live into adulthood, is so he could
actually experience all the pain, challenges, sufferings physically and
emotionally that we do ... so he could relate to us on a very personal
level. ANother reason is so he could fulfill many prophecies given him
some hundreds of years earlier ; and finally, so all could see that he
did indeed live a sinless life which made him the perfect sacrifice for
the atonment to take away OUR sins . It is HIS righteousness that is
being exchanged for our UNrighteousness. The innocent for the guilty.
The one who deserves complete honor for the ones who dont deserve to be
reconciled to The Creator due to our willful and ongoing rebellion and
pride to pretend God isnt real so we could do as we desire for (immoral)
lifestyle choices. Thats the kind of Saviour that ive given my life over
to , and, thats the kind of Creator who demonstrated the greatness of
his love for mankind. Im glad for the Cross of Christ which allowed me
to escape from atheistic hedonism which had me ensnared to its folly.
