It is indeed difficult to prove or disprove the existence of imaginary
entities. However, there is no credible evidence that demands the
existence of a god.

The evidence that suggests god does not exist is that there is no
credible evidence to support its existence. It cannot be shown to have
ever done anything or reacted with anyone except in fairy stories a few
thousands of years old. There are thousands of gods all of which are no
more than human constructs and most are mutually exclusive. It is a
monument to human gullibility that so many people claim to believe in
them.
