They don't CARE how incompetent or evil their god is or isn't.... they're
only thinking of all that great eternal life their leaders promise them for
worshipping their god/gods/goddesses of choice.

It is sad that so many people exert so much effort and spend so much
money in return for a totally false promise. Worse still they never
find out they have been had because they are dead and cannot even warn
any gullible friends or family against being caught in the same way. It
is the perfect con and it has been perpetrated for millions of years.
