Atheim IS the same as nontheism (since a- and non- both mean "not" but one's
greek and the other is latin and using "non-" (a latin prefix) on "theism"
(a greek root) is improper. There's no implying done here, any more than

rather than in the "mankind" sense.) They are exactly the same thing.

It's stupid to believe in anything without evidence. What evidence do you
have that no god of any type exists? You could have none and thus it's
just as illogical to believe that "there are no gods" as it is to believe
"there are/is gods/a god" (since there's no evidence for that either.)

Now some gods are logically impossible and thus I'd believe that they don't
exist. But I wouldn't hold a blanket belief that "no gods exist, period." To
do so is completely illogical.
