The Humanist Manifesto III was created by one particular group of
people aligned with humanism and so there will be differing opinions
especially since there is no humanist dogma and no priesthood. (Ditto
for atheists).

I think you can see that humanism developed as a reaction to theism
more than as a reaction to god belief. Occasionally on Usenet people
will claim to have no god belief but claim that some theistic religion
has been a great boon to mankind.

All religions are proud of their dogma, except Unitarians who claim to
have no dogma, so religions are easy to identify.
