My Favorite Wartime Memory: Diesel Instructor Ronald Greene, Swiftboats &
minesweepers in Vietnam
Sweeping mines on the Siagon River in 61 and in the Da Nang Harbor. Board and
search boats coming from the North Vietnam. Serving on a swift boat doing board
and search at night and running the rivers being shot at by the enemy.I did a
job I was trained to do and met all the expectations I was trained for and we
had a great crew that I served with and was proud of. I was injuried in Vietnam.
