H.R. 2943: Benefit Rating Acceleration for Veteran Entitlements Act of 2007

H.R. 2943: Benefit Rating Acceleration for Veteran Entitlements Act of 2007.
H.R. 2943's long list of bi-partisan co-sponsors, (52 as of 8/28/07) Needs a
serious grass roots effort to move this bill out of committee and onto the
floor for debate and passage. I have read the full text of the bill (8
pages) as submitted and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means and the
bill appears to be straight forward.

HR 2943 - The BRAVE Act
Allows Social Security to Accept 100% VA Disability Ratings

Please send the following message to your US Representative --

As a veteran with service connected disability and your voting constituent,
I urge your cosponsorship and active support of HR 2943, the BRAVE Act
(Benefit Rating Acceleration for Veteran Entitlements Act of 2007),
introduced by Representative John Sarbanes.

Among other provisions, the BRAVE Act would authorize the Social Security
Administration to accept, without further review, 100% disability
determinations by the Department of Veterans Affairs, thus eliminating
further delays caused by redundant administrative processing by the Social
Security Administration.

Please advise me of your intentions.
