Serene's response aside (if only I liked baba ganouj!), I think there
is something in eggplant, like there is in broccoli, that tastes off
to many people. Like me. And, huzzah for my tastebuds, my boy.
There is just no disguising it (unlike, say, zucchini, which you can
slip into my lasagne without too much agitation and wailing).
