It's 13 degrees here now - 9 am - with near zero temps forecast for tonight.
During the night we had rain followed by sleet and snow. The winds are
howling with gusts in excess of 40 mph. This is the worst storm since I
moved here, 11 years ago. I should have moved south like Andy did. The
faucets are dripping and we are all hoping the power will stay on. I have
a propane heater in the living room so we can stay relatively comfortable if
we do lose power.
I know it's much worse for those of you north and east of Texas. Good
luck. Rita was smart to move to San Diego.

today for the SF area
