You didn't answer the question. Why were you deliberately

The evidence is still there in the post I made, that you snipped
all the context out of.

Why'd you do that? What are you trying to prove? That you have
no integrity and will stoop as low as you need to in order to
make a point? Is that what you want to be seen as?

Are you kidding, or are you that dim ???? It's a common practice
and done every day. The slop I eliminated was pointless. The post
was merely a shot at your pomposity. Apparently it hit the mark eh
?

Wrong, again. I am well aware that trimming a post of "slop" is
done every day. That's not the issue here. Let me try to make
this easier to understand for you:

Here's the relevant portion of my post that we are talking about:

It is on MSNBC cable. Only on weeknights, and the lineup is
absolutely awesome. If you are a democrat it is THE channel to
watch.

True.
So much better than FOX!

Yes, it is. They tell it like it is.

Wow. *Completely* suckered in. Amazing.

OK. That line above, where I said "Wow..." was what I said to
*Evelyn*, in regard to *her* being completely suckered in by the
propaganda on MSNBC. Are you with me so far?

Now, what you posted, in it's *entirety* (snipping out everything
but what I'm pasting right here below) was:

Wow. *Completely* suckered in. Amazing.

It's bold of you to admit to the world that you were COMPLETELY
suckered in by the shrub and his criminal clan. Perhaps by now
you've learned a valuable lesson about trusting those phone
conservatives ?

You tried to make it *appear* that I admitted to being suckered in,
*MYSELF*, and then threw in some cheap insults at Bush and
conservatives. You know damn well that my quote about being
suckered in was directed to Evelyn, regarding the MSNBC channel,
and was no "admission" on my part at all.

You deliberately twisted the context to make it appear that I said
something that I did NOT say.

Do you see now? Very unethical and very indicative of the kind of
person that you are. Deceitful and without integrity.

Do you have any argument against what I've said here? Can you deny
any of it? What say you?

I don't care what you say Dan, I happen to believe that MSNBC sees
the world and politics as close to my own as possibly can be. They
are MY voice.

I do listen to other news, but I admit that FOX is not on my roster
of news sources. That is because they are too prejudiced, too
unrealistic for the demographics of this country, and too divorced
from reality. I catch them in lies all the time. Even my
husband, who was a devoted FOX news junkie, realizes now how they
lie.

But, that wasn't the point of what I said! I'm not arguing the
merits of any TV channels! I'm talking about how she *deliberately*
altered the context of my post to make it appear that I said
something which I did not.

Can you not understand that? Seriously, do you see what I'm saying?

People have done that to me, and I don't like it either. I wasn't
aware anyone had done that to your posts.

Well, at least one of you can see what's actually happening. Thank you
for at least acknowledging that much.

It's a low-life thing for anybody to do.

Dan, not for nuthin' like we say in New Yawk, but it just so happens
that with the variety of newsreaders, and some folks posting from google
and whatnot, sometimes it is done inadvertantly. I have had it happen
to me from people I KNOW for sure had no desire to offend, but they just
didn't snip the right way. If I were you, I'd let it slide.

Oh, I'm over it. In this case, though, it was not just a case of
mistaken clipping. That was done that way on purpose, and then
additional words were added to accentuate the illusion that I had said/
meant something that I did not.

It was clearly a case of deceit, and as I said, is a pretty clear
indicator of someone's character and integrity. You might want to keep
that in mind as you evaluate someone's "worth" around here. What she did
was something that I would never do. It's one thing to disagree with
others, and express your own opinions, and even get upset with them over
the discussion. It's another thing altogether to be deceitful and
intentionally alter writings to make someone look bad. It's not
something I have done, nor will I do. Keep that in mind, please.
