Arnold surprised me and I have found him A-OK. I'm sorry he has to

I think he at some point described his job as babysitting a bunch of adult crybabies who could not agree on anything. The Democrats lost a lot of my respect when they started bickering about basically identical budget bills except for the partisan pork barrel spending they each wanted.
But Republicans
like Arnold are being forced out of the Republican party.
He may be the last good Republican not corrupted by the party. He can't be bribed since his is richer by far than any salary could make him, and nobody could possibly get enough $$$ to bribe him anyway. I could just see it now, Arnold calling the cleanup crew to take the smudge off the wall and just saying "He tried to bribe me, the Gubernator". Big mistake.
The California system of propositions drives me nuts. I'm sitting the
latest one out.
Me too. I won't ride my bicycle the three miles each way nor will I walk that far for a sham election.
I voted for our Republican San Diego Mayor -- but party has little to
do with city politics. I gave him my vote because he supports gay
marriage.
Good, both for you and him. I am sick of these people trying to base a candidate on that one subject. He could sign their bill or whatever and then have nothing of substance to do for the rest of the term. Like a stand on gay marriage will make him a good Mayor. The idiots picketing over these issues need to be arrested and then given mental exams for thinking that is the only issue he will have to deal with. Were you living in San Diego when that 727 crashed there in 1976(?).
Did you hear about that car that went up a telephone pole wire, apparently undamaged but very embarrassing to the driver in about 1972?
I drove past it (or bicycled) and had to stop and stare at the absurdity of it all. That almost surely made the front page.

I'm glad you still are talking to me. I just have to block that Dancy guy and apparently John Morse too.
Cheers,
I am feeling troll proof today.
And seems to be a fair guy without drama. It is hard for
me to get excited about local politics as San Diego seems to be run.
well enough to suit me.
