The Richardson endorsement certainly won't hurt.

Obama got a fantastic amount of time on the major networks today.
Richardson's endorsement speech was very, very strong. Especially
since he had been a cabinet officer in the Clinton administration.
He noted Hillary and Bill were his good friends but he felt the
nation needed a total change from the past. Richardson is a very
appealing figure. Hope he campaigns for Obama a lot in the
remaining primaries. Richardson also has foreign policy
credentials and said Obama would be a great commander in chief.

So - he might fill a spot in the future cabinet ?

Or perhaps a major Ambassador post. A man of many talents. Genial and
smart and a very fine person, Bill Richardson. But he may wish to
stay as Governor.

That would be a tough choice for him.
He won the governor spot, so leaving it for an appointed post might be too
much of trade off.
Never can tell - about any of this stuff though.
