Sure, certain posters are annoying but neither am I going to cut
off my nose to spite my face and leave a group in a snit. If a
group is not currently to my liking, I leave it quietly and forget
it. I can then always give it another try later, without having to
explain why I returned:)

Now that newsgroups have been around for quite some time, it's
often interesting to return to groups you visited years ago.
Some have died off.
Almost all will have changed in character - and characters.
Also, what we want from them keeps changing as well.

But then - you always take the common sense path to avoid
disappointment or dissatisfaction.
A role model for all.

I used to like the group misc.consumers.frugal-living but it
seems to have deteriorated into a spam trap. I was disappointed.
There used to be some good discussions and clever ways to save
a buck or two.


Maybe it will be revived one day.
It covers topics many of us would be interested in hearing about.
