Evelyn - I am not as bitter about doctors as you seem to be - although,
during my lifetime, I have had enough negative experiences with them, to
make me bitter, but the good ones outweighed the others!
My doctor - way back - left the choice to me, after pointing out the
advantages and the possible disadvantages and possible complications.
And I have been fine ever since, no problems, after some 20 odd years on
Lipitor. I do not blame the drug companies at all - nor the doctors;
what would we do without them?! and that is after having had
experiences - with doctors - which would make your hair stand on end!
(I woujld be glad to list them!!) but we need them, and the majority
are responsible clinicians.
Olly
