Oily, dear lady, how did you feel about the Russians pillaging and
raping civilians when they took Berlin? There were innocent children
killed, raped and injured when they entered that city.
I don't ask this to criticize your feelings; just to have you look at
things in persepctive. And hopefully, give you peace of mind.

Hiroshima - that is an event I have never come to terms with, and, to
this day, do not really know how I feel about it.
On the one hand I feel it was a monstrous attack by us; initiating
nuclear power, and in the process killing thousands, within a few
minutes. Sounds surreal.
Then, however, the argument was presented, that it saved thousands
thousands of American lives, simply by stopping the war.upon
Then, it seems that one wonders why we should be so "generous" by
refraining to use what we had in retaliation, since their attack
us was unprovoked and cost too many lives of our men..
Yet, in my heart, I have always accused Truman of this heinous act in
releasing this horror over Japan.
If I sound confused - I am.
And, therefore, the world has only gotten more dangerous, since there
are now many countries who now have nuclear power, and some of thsoe
countries (most of them) cannot in any way be trusted.
