Well, neither you nor I are into guilt trips. Just think of all the
people who are and how confession helps them cope with life.
How did I keep a straight face? In those days confession took place
behind a closed curtain and I was a good liar. I might not have been
able to do it face to face. I vaguely remember the penance being
something like "Say 3 Hail Marys and one Our Father" That was a
million years ago.
