I thank you, Evelyn - I appretiate your inquiry.
Olly

You can see everyone's faults...but your own. Ah twould be the gift to
gie us.

Nantz

Good shot.
Apparently that attribute never occurred to her.
What a lady - to be so - fuckin' touchy about a bit of language.
:- )

The difference between Olly and yourself is simple to see. Olly is a
Lady, and you are definitely not a Lady, High Miles..Far from it.

That could explain why she gets upset at the filthy language that comes
from your mouth..High Miles.

Old Bill

There are a lot worse things than bad language in this world.
And I would rather be an earth worm than a lady.

What Olly thinks or feels about my communications is of zero interest
to me. She is free to ignore or filter them.

Ladies are just about totally out of style.
Power women are what the world needs now.

Dorothy

A man should try to act like a "lady" and see how he likes it.
That term is way outdated. Only the old guys seem to use it.
Those who cherish the role of lord of the manor....still.

Well said. I don't think there is anything wrong with the occasional profanity, and use it myself from time to time. What I do find offensive is the endless gay bashing that goes on over at soc.retirement, not to mention the raving political commentary which usually gets very aggressive against anyone with even a vaguely liberal viewpoint. That heavy polarization that Bush and Co. seems to thrive on. To me that is far more profane than a little cussing.
