You don't know anything about me either but I probably understand more
about analog/digital phase-lock-loops and frequency synthesizers than you
would think. Used them extensively (back in the daze when I worked for a
living)....
I have
several digital PLL related patents..... but that work was done around
35 or
so years ago..... Primarily 3 state phase detection and digital lock
detection.
If you've read EDN, Electronic Design, and Microwaves and Wireless
(just
to name a few ) you've
probably read some of my stuff dealing with those subjects..
I see you are accredited w. :United States Patent 6307441 -------
**** If you keep looking, you'll find a bunch more on a variety of
electronic disciplines.....I've been at it a long time..... When my
high
school buddies were stealing hubcaps, I was stealing drive-in
speakers.
:>))))))
Is that really "Shape modulation - - - - - "
**** Yeah, that was the name the patent guy gave it.... It has to do
with generating a spectrally efficient MSK signal by using a D/A
driven by a ROM so that the output waveform is the same as if the
FSK signal was passed thru a Gaussian Filter. All could be done
digiatlly by using a SMALL part of a microprocessor without any
analog components..... The modem guys love it....
I won't beg you to do anything but if you want to post your poem here on
this newsgroup you can be assured that we will read it
****** Since you beg me, I'll put it here : :>))))))
Ode to Prostate by Andy Sharpe
O little friend
Who lives within
Companion thru my life
You've turned on me
I cannot pee
Or make love to my wife
But now the battle lines are drawn
The surgeon's on his way
With your demise
My star will rise
I'll use it every day.......
( Going from memory )
***** I went and googled the keywords "Ode to Prostate" I gave you
myself to make sure it still worked...... I found a lot of hits
on it
as well as a reference to other poems some magazine picked up
on that I had forgotten about....... Damn, ..... I might be
another
Mark Twain, someday...... ( Yeah, right !! ) :>)))))
Presently my poetic interests go more toward limericks which
have the word "Nantucket" in the first line......
Also, you might
want to post a portrait with it; it doesn't actually have to be of yourself.
**** My picture has been posted on Russ Weber's soc.senior.issues
website since it's creation . It is still accurate since I now weigh
about
the same as I did then, and haven't changed much at all..... It is MY
portrait, since I couldn't find any movie star picture that would
represent
an improvement...... :>)))
When I used to send in my portrait to the newsgroups, I'd always send a pic
of Gary Grant or Gregory Peck since they both resembled me in so many ways.
These biddies on this newsgroup never knew the difference.
***** No wonder you set so many of their hearts a-flutter !!!!
Oh yes, - - - - slap that Prostate Ode up here in soc.senior.issues .
That's one that'll grab ol' JIffyCornbread Mile's attention. ANYTHING
related to male body parts will be a pure delight for her/him/it.
*** I don't know much about High, but I enjoy the posts . If the
poster is
anything like the posts, I'm sure we'd get along OK..... It's
very
possible to disagree with someone without calling them a bunch of
names....... something many of the people who frequent this
group haven't learned in a lifetime........
What on God's Earth could ANYBODY do with a detached prostate ?? !!
Except chrome plate it and place it on the mantle! Come to think of it I
could use mine as a base plate for holding the Ostrich Egg that I like to
keep
over my desk.
**** I have an Ostrich Egg too that one of my co-workers gave me
around
10 or so years ago. Really nice looking.....
But we wouldn't have to detach it to see who would win the
contest....
All we need is a prostate exam by an impartial judge at the same time.
Maybe Rumplestiltskin would consent to return for the opportunity --
---- what do you think ??? :>))))))
It keeps moving about of its own accord when I'm out of the
room(I kid you not!).****** A haunted Ostrich Egg........ Perhaps there's something alive
inside of it. Sounds like a good start for Jurrassic Park
IV !!!!
Party on,
Andy in Eureka, Texas
