I had some Jewish friends who could not put milk and bread (I think)
on the table at the same time. It said so in the Bible.
Muslims cannot eat the unclean meat, pork. It says so in the Quran.
I wonder if fish is the only critter everyone can eat without some
imposed guilt?

My vegan daughter andf vegetarian grandson don't eat fish. For Jews,
I suspect meat and bread might be a problem, if the bread has milk or
butter in it. I don't know why milk and bread wouldn't be all
right. My dislike of the idea of eating dog would be a matter of
repugnance, not of religion or ethics. Toci
