One day I was working late in the lab and went to rinse off a silicone
wafer in what i though was a container of water. My hand got suddenly
very hot so I immediately moved the acid over and rinsed for several
minutes. It's a big no no to leave a container of acid under a faucet.
My hand turned yellow and I lost a very thin layer of skin. No big
deal.
