Like talking to a brick wall....I know the costs are rediculous but I consider my insurance a good dealOf course you paid your taxes and your Medicare payments.Who the hell do you think you are? Of course I know who is paying for it.I've had 3 major surgeries (costs over $50,000 each) and 3 minorAnd just who do you think is paying for all of this... the tooth
surgeries
as well as all kinds of tests before the major surgeries. I haven't
paid
a
penny after any of them. I figure in the 5 years since I went on
Medicare
the insurance company has paid out at least $200,000. and my premiums
certainly haven't come close to that.

But you listed some two hundred thousand plus expenses as if Medicare
and your insurance is a good deal.
And that's one of the biggest problems with our health care system.
Folks accept this and don't give a second thought as to where the
money is coming from. The Government isn't paying for that... and you
should know better. We are all paying for it.
My wife had two scans at a cost of $6,000 because she complained of a
pain in side. Results... zero.
Our costs keep going up because there is more and more to offer and
until somebody figures that out, it won't stop.

because I would be broke if I had to pay them. I am paying over $300 a
month with medicare, AARP supplement and Medicare D perscription coverage.
What do you think I should have done - not had carotid surgery that I would
have had a stroke without; or not had back surgery that relieved
excruciating pain; or maybe not had a knee joint replaced.

My apologies, I shouldn't have said that... If you don't understand,
it's not your fault.

Ahhh maybe there is hope for you after all.
But she still shouldn't have to live in pain.
