On of my favorites is " How It's Made " ,
I like that one, too, except for the damned music. I assume it must
be aimed at a younger demographic, the ones who would apparently curl
up and die if confronted with five consecutive seconds of silence.

I have noticed that it's impossible to have anything on TV without
music. This generation MUST have constant, conflicting, multi-
sensory input........
We live in the country, boondocks, on a lake, in the woods.
When my son or daughter come to visit, it's impossible for them
to just sit on the porch and listen to the birds and owls. Always
chatter chatter chatter....... usually about stuff that is completely
redundant and nothing would happen badly in the world if it
were never said at all...... but they MUST keep chattering.....
just like a gagle of chickens.....
I could watch factory tours all day -- if they'd just cut out the
sound track and find more appealing characters than that twerp on
"Made in America". I'm not sure which I find more mind-boggling, the
wonderful machinery or the fact that so many people with less
personality than the average possum have found roles as hosts or
whatever they call them.
****** I haven't paid that much attention to the hosts. Now that
you've
called my attention to it, I guess it'll start to upset me, too.....
Thanks !!!
Thank goodness for Jeopardy and old pool matches on ESPN Classic.
**** I've recently started watching The Military Channel where they
talk about weapons and tactics and old battles and Russians
and Germans and stuff...... I know I'll get tired of it after a while,
but right now it's a novelty...
My bigger interest is Star Trek, Stargate, etc, but it seems I've
seen every episode multiple times and it's not as much fun anymore.
Comedy Central is good for an hour once in a while when they
have a really good standup on....... Nice break in the middle of
the day....
***** It's started to cool of a bit here in North Texas , so I can
do stuff in the morning. Time to plan a fall garden. A priority is
to get rid of the damn rabbits. I have a trap ordered, and will
try that first.... I hate to drop a hundred bucks on chicken wire
to raise 20 bucks worth of turnips, but I might have to do it......
