My Gosh, Olly, are you saying the differences between the Repubs and
the Dems have not been discussed Ad Nauseam???

The title of this group is, as you well know, Soc.senior. issues.
As one of the seniors I do not believe that the only issue that
concerns me is the differences between the two major political
parities in the USA.

Just like Gun Control, the death penalty and/or Birth Control, after
it has been discussed for a while the points that the various
participants here want to make are well known and it is time to move
on to something else even if that something else may me their
Grandmother's recipe for Potato Salad.

For anyone who sole interest is politics there are newsgroups that
were chartered just for that.
