Idealism is a phase of youth. We are a group of senior
posters. We have lived thru the realities of lfe & found that
most people work for themselves. Reagan was charismatic--a
movie actor--controlled by a clever wife & rigid Republican party.
The Repubs have many publicity & advertising men in their group
skilled at outwitting the public. If the artificial image of a
noble cowboy has been exploited then George W Bush--the rich
elder son of an ex Prez could mount that label & hes been fooling
people. He & Cheney slanted intelligence so that it appeard we
were in immediate danger. We were not. But because of our
premature invasion without proper planning we are in a blody
quagmire.
