Re: Are we prepared for aging

Edo says we are afraid of the pain associated with dying--not
death. I differ. Yes, we are frightened of the pain of a
terminal illness but we are also apalled by disappearing of
life from death. The family, our enviroment, the continuance
of the events daily, , our possessions, permanent extincttion
This is the inevitable end for all of us. The passing of
each birthday brings us closer to the end. It is why we have
religion & the many different reactions to death.
