I sometiimes think you must be some kind of a Nazi. Yes, that's what you
are for sure; a goddamned Nazi !

Armageddon. You and I, more than likely, have different ideas about what
makes "Armageddon". It will be a "major and decisive conflict" which
will make dramatic changes in societies of this Earth and, even with all our
lasers and cameras and satellites and bombs and vast military forces and
Liberal Universities; we should not be overconfident that we will win.
There was such a thing we now know of as the "Dark Ages", you know.

Widespread, continuous, more frequent, more powerful, more deadly,
Insane-Muslim-Terrorist attacks could mean the demise of most of the largest
cities on Earth. The extremely highly populated areas could be deserted
and left (as you suggest) to the underclass and illegal immigrants; in which
case they would quickly disentegrate. It has happened numerous times in
recorded history. Let us not assume it could not happen again. It has
much more to do with culture and societal beliefs than with "technology" (my
most humble opinion, of course).
