Evelyn - there seems to be no such etiquette - among discussion group
members -which states that each and every post has to be answered,
and/or acknowledged. All contributions are voluntary; and, no matter
how sparse they might be, they are valid. I do believe that you are
laboring under a misconception; nothing like what you describe is
required. If it were, it would indeed be unwieldy, wouldn't it. And
very boring, at times. Just reply when and if you feel like it; I do
believe that is what everyone else does.
This is not supposed to be criticism; just trying to be helpful - -just
relax!

Olly it is working fine again. I feel no such compulsion to answer every posting. The program I use to read the newsgroups allows me to highlight in red, any thread I am participating in, so I can keep track of the discussions I have ongoing. When reading and posting through google, it is from a different source, so it doesn't allow me to do that. That's all.
