It's too bad you can't get your old MS Office to work anymore. I love
using Outlook and I've been using it for as long as I can remember.
So, I'd be lost without it. You might try deleting your Thunderbird
software and reinstalling it.
BUT - if you delete the program, you lose your address book and
bookmarks.
Could be a high price for no change in performance.
I wouldn't uninstall the program until I got all that stuff safely
transferred somewhere.
Best to bitch at the Tbird folks first.
From what I've been able to determine, nobody has an answer to myproblem. For now, I guess I'll stick with saving each jpg and
generating my own post instead of trying to forward. It does take a
lot longer and it's irritating as hell but the problem only becomes an
issue about once a month or so. I don't really get that many that are
that hilarious. ;-]
Also, if you bought MS operating system, or it came installed on
a new machine, you should be able to reinstall with the disk that
was issued.
That's very true but it just hasn't worked out that way. I guess I
must have tried to use a disk that came with a previous computer but
it was the only Office disk I could find.
all of them were due to one small, hardly noticable typo. Perhaps a
double number was missed...or a space was missed or doubled. Keep
trying. You just may get it going.
And....I don't recall right now, but did it come with the original
machine? If so, it may have been a trial version whose time ran out.
