My doctor has given me a couple of EKGs, but they're something like
four seconds long and I remain unconvinced that such a short tracing
can be worth much.
It can be worth a great deal. It can discover such things as atrial
flutter or fibrillation, a leaky valve etc. and most important it
serves as a base line should you come in 3 months later with chest
pains.
