One of them, as you read, I am sure, has a death wish for McCain and
Palin, and expressed her hope they might be in a plane crash. When I
read that -though she perhaps does not mean it literally, it prompted me
to think about perhaps leaving this group, since I do not care to be a
member of a group on the Internet,which - perhaps - just perhaps - might
be investigated by the FBI, or some other such investigative agency,
because of comments like High Miles, of a deathwish for McCain. I am
assuming, of course,that she does not mean it, literally, but our
current investigative federal powers do not distinguish between idly, or
even jokingly, posted death threats, or genuine ones; what they do is to
investigate, regardless of the original intent of the poster. And I,
for one,would in no way, want to be a part and a member of such an
investigation. They will shriek "paranoia" - and that I am an old, old
paranoid witch, misinterpreting what was said in "jest", Perhaps - but,
regardless of what their reaction, I am thinking about leaving; this
type of incitement to tragedy, is beyond "entertainment' - and, as I
mentioned in my other post, sure enough, they (the FBI) discovered a
plot to assassinate Obama!! Thank God it was discovered in time.
So - -that is the level to which some - here - have sunk, and I feel
discussing it with them is fruitless -at least for me.
