No, Obama is not right. It does not matter how much oil
there is. What matters is that some oil from domestic sources
is better than no oil from domestic sources. And inflating
your tires will get you more miles per gallon but it WILL NOT
solve the supply/demand problem.

posting, I asked - when you declared that you can't satisfy
everybody - who are the ones criticizing you for bottom
posting; but you couldn't/didn't come up with a single name.
And you seem to be the only regular here who top posts however
regularly/irregulaly. I myself haven't seen anyone here
complain that you bottom post. So who here criticizes you for
bottom posting?

And I believe I answered you the last time. I have given up on
this idea of trying to satisfy people like you, because while
you do not like top posting, others do not like it when I
bottom post. It is a no-win situation....

And - as I said - last time when you answered me you failed - as
you did yet once again - to name those who do not like it when
you bottom post. So yet again, who are these folks who are
picking on you - and only you - for bottom posting? Or is it
the case that they do not exist? That, you know, could well
explain why "they" hammer on you and you alone for bottom
posting and not on the rest of us who bottom post.
So Jerry - who are these folks who chastise you for bottom
posting? I see you are very, very quiet about these folks. Why
are they picking on you and not on us others who bottom post

I have no idea. Besides, how would I know that they are no doing
the same thing with someone else, unless I read their posting.

No, I have no set rule about when I do top post, or bottom post. I
simply do what I want to do at the time I respond.
Now, now Jerry - no red herrings. You made the statement that
"...others do not like it when I bottom post." Those are your words,
are they not?

I honestly do not remember, because I really don't much care who is
posting the message, I respond to the message itself for the most
part. Besides, I am really really bad at remembering names. I could
tell you a whole lot of stories to illustrate my lousy memory for
names.

when asked the names of such folks, you replied "I have no idea."

yes, as I said, peoples names are not that important to me....never
has been....has gotten me in to trouble sometimes because of that bad
habit....

question to you - once again - is...how exactly is it that you have

that such people do not chastise you openly here on soc.retirement best
to my knowledge because I for one have never - never - seen a response
from anyone to one of your bottom posts so chastising you. But then,
what do I know? How about you good folks out there? Have you ever seen
a post chastising Jerry for bottom posting? In fact, any of you out
there care to own up to chastising Jerry for bottom posting? My bet,
Jerry old boy, is that no one is going to say that he/she has seen a
post by someone chastising you for bottom posting or that he/she has
indeed so chastised you. Why? Simple. Because - I suspect - no one
has so chastised you. May be you can render the favor the next time you
are chastised for bottom posting to bring that chastising post to the
attention of all then and there so you don't have to do any remembering
of names!

Do you really want me to send you a message, everytime someone does
chastise me for either top posting or bottom posting?
Well, of course, Jerry - you yourself stating that you so easily forget
names, this is the next best thing to discover who it is that chastises
you - and seemingly only you - for bottom posting. Now if you have a
better memory for names, then all you need do is to share those names.
But given your unfortunate propensity to forget/ignore names, I'm afraid
this is the best of which I can think. Clearly if you have a better
alternative by which we can know those who chastise you for bottom
posting, by all means let's hear from you. And please - only those who
chastise you for bottom posting!

The best I can do, if I remember, is to forward you when the next series
of people tell me not to top post, or bottom post. Of course that assumes
I remember who I had this conversation with <g>.
Or, if you follow that same logic, if you can indeed remember to bring to
the attention of us here the incidence wherein someone chastises you for
bottom posting. Dinna worry about those folks chastising you here for top
posting - I myself will be amongst those. Too bad you can't come up with an
alternative.
